An event will be hosted on Sunday to collect donations for 1-year-old Treazure Whiting after the loss of both of her parents, Adarius Glee and Stageina Whiting.
The two lost their lives to gun violence 11 months apart.
Whiting, who was endearingly called “Pretty Pre,” was killed in a mass shooting at Boom Island Park in June 2025. On Thursday, Glee was killed in a shooting in Saint Paul. Treazure’s grandparents have stepped up to take care of her.
The week prior to his passing, Glee celebrated his 27th birthday. He frequently posted videos and photos of himself and Whiting together.
In the absence of a GoFundMe, the family has posted their Cash App links on social media to raise funds to care for Treazure. They are also accepting clothing and diapers, noting that she loves the character Minnie Mouse, Bluey, and Ms. Rachel, a YouTube educational personality.
The event collecting donations will take place at 4 p.m. at 6282 Boone Ave. N.
St. Paul police are still investigating the shooting of Glee. Thursday night, officers responded to a call from Glee saying he was shot outside of an apartment building on the 200 block of East Seventh Street. He was then transported to Regions Hospital, where he passed, police said.
A 23-year-old man was charged in connection with the shooting at Boom Island Park that led to Whiting’s passing in 2025.
